MTP Assemblies

MPO, which means Multiple-Fiber Push-On, is a fiber optic connector that has 8, 12 or 24 fibers in a very compact assembly that bonds with MPO multi fiber adapters easily. MTP means Multi-fiber Termination Push-on, and it is a higher quality version of the standard MPO connectors. MTP assemblies include patch cords, fan-out and breakout assemblies; and they are usually used in ultra high density fiber distribution panels and data center equipment.
