Fiber Optic Pigtail

An optical fiber becomes a fiber optic pigtail if it is terminated with a fiber connector on one end and kept unterminated on the other end, and pigtails are usually tight buffered. The connector side of the fiber pigtail can be connected to an optical adapter and the other stripped fiber end can be splice fused to another fiber. Fiber optic pigtails are usually used in optical distribution frames, fiber termination boxes and splice closures. Pigtails are a part of the variant collection of Samm Fiber Optic Assemblies, which are manufactured in Turkey with world class quality and cost effective prices.
